The Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line is designed to provide safe, effective, and comfortable long-term vascular access for patients undergoing treatments such as antibiotics, chemotherapy, parenteral nutrition, and pain management. These PICC lines offer a combination of advanced technology and patient-focused features, making them an essential tool for modern healthcare.
Available in a wide range of sizes—from 3 Fr. to 6 Fr., and in single, dual, and triple lumen configurations—these catheters are compatible with CT imaging, supporting high-pressure injections up to 5ml per second. Each kit comes equipped with everything needed for accurate and aseptic insertion using the Modified Seldinger Technique (MST), with optional over-the-needle configurations available on request.
What's Inside the Kit
Each PICC kit includes a CT-rated catheter made from durable, flexible polyurethane, offering both safety and patient comfort. The kit also features:
A G21 echogenic needle for enhanced visibility under ultrasound
A 10ml luer-lock syringe
A mini No.11 safety scalpel
A 50cm nitinol guidewire with a flexible J-tip
A short peel-away microintroducer sheath
An 80cm nitinol stylet with an atraumatic straight tip
A T-connector with removable luer-lock fitting to secure the stylet
End caps for multi-lumen versions
A securement device with foam padding to prevent catheter movement
A clear dressing and paper tape measure for post-insertion care
Smart Design for Patient Safety
These PICC lines are built with thoughtful features that enhance both usability for clinicians and safety for patients:
Colour-coded luers make lumen identification quick and accurate, helping reduce medication errors.
Clear extension lines improve visibility of fluid flow.
Short reverse taper ensures a tight seal at the insertion site, minimizing the risk of leakage or infection.
Trimmable catheter with 1cm markings allows for tailored placement.
Clearly marked suture wings help identify catheter size easily during use.
Rigid clamps provide secure closure and reduce the chance of accidental disconnection.
